Cesare Petrelli graduated in DAMS, addressing music, with a thesis on dramaturgy
by Ennio Morricone, obtaining the dignity of printing. He participated in the Veneto
Jazz Festival 2004 and in-depth bebop style with John Riley and Roberto
Cat.
He teaches drums at the F.A.Vallotti municipal music school in Vercelli.
He has participated in festivals such as the European Jazz Contest, Caneval Music Lab and the
Mediterranean Jazz Festival.
He has collaborated with Gianluigi Trovesi, Alberto Mandarini, Rudy Migliardi,
Gianni Coscia, Anna Vella, Gianni Basso, Pippo Colucci, Emilio Soana, Paolo
Tomelleri, Giusepe Canone and Dino Cerruti. Among the latest recordings the
disc "Love Song" with Phoebus Quartet + string orchestra and guest G.Trovesi.
He has performed in theaters including:
the Alfieri of Asti, the Coccia of Novara, the Civic of Vercelli; in the auditorium of
Lingotto of Turin and the BlueNote of Milan.
