In The Dead Car, a Crazy Folk band whose name is inspired by the song “In the death car”, symbol of union between Gipsy Folk sonorities infused with the raw power of Hard Rock. According to a Swisjournalist, their genre lies somewhere “between a western film, a circus performance and Gipsy euphoria… now you’re in the middle of the desert in New Mexico, the next moment you find yourself under a circus tent not far away from the fanfare”.
The band is formed after a chance encounter between the eclectic Patrick Botticchio and Oriol Besora, raised in Barcelona; the encounter of their respective cultures lays the foundations of the band. They recruits Adrien Stevens, who brings his melancholy sound into the mix, after one year of activity the arrival of Leo Canepa, ticinese D.O.C., who adds a new touch with his folk rhythms. Veronica Torre, with her rocker’s soul, completes In The Dead Car.
