Latin Jazz Ensemble is an experienced band (from duo to sextet) active since about 15 years, in Italy and abroad, composed by professional musicians with jazz and latin american musical experience, who played over the years with known Italian and international artists. It can perform in diverse formations, from duo to sextet according to the location, spaces, available budget. The music the band playes varies from the jazz, latin jazz, swing, jazz dance, ethnic and gypsy featuring a mix of
refined and fun music, suitable to accompany the most varied situations. From the classic evergreen to the american jazz standards, ballads, bolero, swing and bossa nova tempos, afrp-cuban and samba, to the soft atmospheres of Chet Bajer to the more present sound of the Gillespie or Paquito D' Rivera tunes, always with warm sounds yet modern, carefully selecting the tunes from the repertoire. Each performance is modeled to the needs of the setting, suitable to any event type and environment.
Our ensemble is a collective of excellent musicians such as professionals like trumpet/flugehorn, sax and clarinet players, drummers, bassist, guitarists, excellent pianists, accordion, male or female jazz singers.
We are at the third CD published, first one published in 2010 (Jazz + Latin ), then 2012 (Jazz with latin spice) and the latest in 2014 (Latino Jazz Club), tunes can be listened on Soundclick searching for "Latin Jazz Ensemble" page or on SoundCloud searching for "Roby Perissin and Latin Jazz Ensemble".
